Wooden carved chess pieces only, created by a Living National Treasure from the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Russia.

This is a photograph of a carved wooden chessboard and pieces. Due to dryness indoors, cracks were found on the board, so we are selling only the pieces. As you can see, these are decorative pieces. There is a scent, which I believe is pine resin. It smells like being in a forest. Even after decades, they seem to be alive. The pieces have a moist, comfortable feel in your hand.

These are wild and spirited works created in the 1990s by an artist considered a living national treasure in the Jewish Autonomous Oblast* of Russia. When originally purchased, half of the pieces were a darker black, but I believe the color has faded over time. If you are skilled, please feel free to add color.
I have no knowledge of chess, so I arranged the pieces randomly for the photo without knowing their meaning. The pieces have a gentle, woodsy feel that adheres to your hand. Each piece looks like a character, as if it has a will of its own, making them enjoyable just to look at.
